POKERSTARS LIVE PROGRESSIVE "BAD BEAT PLUS" JACKPOT RULES

  1. The Bad Beat Plus daily progressive jackpot shall apply to all 14 tables Texas Hold’em poker cash games only. Qualifying games include:
    1. Limit and No Limit Hold’em ₱25/₱50, ₱50/₱100, ₱100/₱200, ₱200/₱500, ₱500/₱1,000 or above.
  2. In order to qualify for the main Bad Beat Plus Jackpot, a player must have Aces full of tens or better losing to a higher ranking hand - being quads or better.
  3. Both the winning and losing hand must use both of their ‘Hole’ cards to create the highest possible hand. (If four of a kind is beaten, either two of the four or one of the four plus the ‘Kicker’ which plays must be in the players’ hole cards).
  4. If aces full of tens is beaten to qualify at least one of the cards in the losing players hole cards must be an ace (Three Aces on the board combined with a pair in player’s hand does not qualify for the main Bad Beat Plus Jackpot).
  5. For the main Bad Beat Plus Jackpot to qualify, the hand has to go to the river and MUST go to showdown. All cards must be dealt, all betting must be completed and all hands MUST be tabled. Only the 1st board applies if players elect to run it more than once.
  6. Both winning and losing hands must be the player’s best possible combination of five cards (only the 1st and 2nd best hands qualify)
  7. In the case of a Straight Flush or a Royal Flush being used as a qualifying hand, both hole cards must be used to make the best five-card hand possible.
  8. A player’s ‘Kicker’ must play and beat the board. There is no Jackpot if the ‘Kicker’ ties the board.
  9. The pot must be at least twenty times the Big Blind to be eligible for the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot.
  10. Bad Beat Plus Jackpot rake will be removed from the a pot based on the following condition (no Bad Beat Plus Jackpot rake is to be removed with less than five players):
    1. ₱25 will be removed from a pot that totals ₱250-₱499 including rake.
    2. ₱50 will be removed from a pot that totals ₱500 or more including rake.
  11. No Flop, No Drop policy is enforced for the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot rake.
  12. A minimum of 5 (five) players must be dealt in and seated at the beginning of the hand and collection for Bad Beat Plus Jackpot must be collected in order to qualify for the Bad Beat.
  13. Players not dealt in at the start of the hand will not be eligible for a percentage of the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot (an active player for this promotion is defined as a player who does not have ‘reserve’, ‘missed blind’ or ‘missed small blind’ button in front of their seat).
  14. A player who removes his or her chips from the game prior to a showdown on a hand where the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot is won forfeits his or her right to any prize money.
  15. If a player walks away from the game but leaves chips on the table and he or she was in the hand at the beginning, they will retain their rights to their share of the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot if the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot hand occurs.
  16. Player must play their hands independently. If any player whether directly or indirectly involved in the hand passes information or instructs another player how to act or reveals their hand to other player, the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot will be disqualified.
  17. Any player exposing their cards before action is complete will disqualify the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot.
  18. Any irregularities in the deck in play will disqualify the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot.
  19. If there are more than (2) two hands involved in a Bad Beat Plus Jackpot then the (2) two highest hands will be considered for the jackpot. The highest hand being the Bad Beat Hand. The others will qualify for the table share.
  20. In the rare event of a Bad Beat Plus Jackpot being hit on more than one game at the same time, both tables will split the jackpot.
    1. In the rare event that the main and minor jackpot hit at the same time, the minor jackpot will be deducted from the main jackpot fund first before awarding the main Bad Beat Plus Jackpot pay-out. See ‘MINOR BAD BEAT PLUS JACKPOT FUND’ section for more details.
  21. Seventy (70%) of the daily Bad Beat Plus Jackpot rake is allocated for the progressive Bad Beat Plus Jackpot fund broken, as down below:
    1. Seventy (70%) to Bad Beat Plus Jackpot Fund.
      1. Pay-out of the Minor Bad beat Plus Jackpot fund will be deducted from the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot Fund as required.
    2. Thirty (30%) to the Reserve Bad Beat Plus Jackpot Fund.
  22. Thirty (30%) administration fee is deducted from the daily Bad Beat Plus Jackpot rake.
    1. The applicable PAGCOR license fee rate shall apply.
  23. Players are eligible to win the posted progressive Bad Beat Plus Jackpot amount such amount is updated every day after 12:00 PM.
  24. Upon the implementation of the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot, the first trading day starting at 12:00 PM will be allocated to accumulate the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot rake; the second trading day will be allocated for verification and daily updating of the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot at 12:00 PM.
  25. Initial seed amount of One Million (₱1,000,000) for starting the main progressive Bad Beat Plus Jackpot will be funded by City of Dreams Manila.
    1. When the main progressive Bad Beat Plus Jackpot is hit, it will revert back to the initial one million (₱1,000,000) seed amount, held in the 1st Reserve Bad Beat Plus Jackpot fund, (or a higher amount if City of Dreams Manila elects).
    2. City of Dreams Manila will shoulder the remainder should the 1st reserved Bad Beat Plus Jackpot fund be unable to cover the initial seed amount.
    3. Should the first reserved Bad Beat Plus Jackpot fund exceeds the initial One Million (₱1,000,000) seed amount, it will go to the 2nd reserve fund and so on and so forth to supply the seed for the subsequent Bad Beat Plus Jackpot fund.
  26. The main progressive Bad Beat Plus Jackpot will remain pending until it is verified by CCTV and PAGCOR. If the jackpot is hit again before the verification of the first jackpot, the second jackpot will be eligible for the initial One Million (₱1,000,000) coming from the 1st reserved Bad Beat Plus Jackpot fund. If it has been found that the initial Bad Beat Plus Jackpot hand did not qualify, the second jackpot will be entitled to the main fund once verification is complete.
  27. To collect the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot pay out , all winning players at the winning table are required to provide two valid photo ID and submit their (TIN) tax identification number (Passport if foreign national) in order to get paid.

Payouts of the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot are as follows:

  1. All participants must be at least 21 years of age and management may decline the acceptance of a person from receiving the jackpot if found to be a blacklisted person (e.g. self-exclusion, barred, suspended). In this case, those funds will be added to the Reserve Jackpot Fund.
  2. Management reserves the right to verify eligibility of all qualifying hands. There will be no recourse if the cards are mucked before surveillance was able to verify the hands and the community cards. COD Poker Room management will not be permitted to reconstruct the hands in any way.
  3. Any dispute or situation not covered by the official Bad Beat Plus Jackpot Rules will be resolved by the COD Poker Room Management in a manner deemed by them to be the fairest to all concerned and that the decision shall be final and without recourse.
  4. COD reserves the right to void any hand and/or change, cancel or modify this promotion at any time subject to regulatory approval.
  5. Players will be notified at least 7 business days in advance to which Minor Bad Beat Plus Jackpot will be implemented.
  6. PAGCOR will be notified at least 7 business days in advance by City of Dreams Manila for any utilization of the Minor Bad Beat Plus Jackpot fund and will submit necessary documentation for approval of rules and dates of implementation.
  7. Bad Beat Plus Jackpot rake shall be placed in the Progressive Jackpot rake box located on the right side of the dealer.

MINOR BAD BEAT PLUS JACKPOT FUND

Minor Bad Beat Plus Jackpot funds can be utilized in a variety of ways that can be set to apply for a certain period of time or for certain times of the day(s).

Below are examples of ways that can be applied for the Minor Bad Beat Plus Jackpot:

Example 1: High Hand

City of Dreams Manila may elect to pay a set amount from the Minor Bad Beat Plus Jackpot funds for the highest hand over a certain day/s and time period.

Example 2: Aces Full Bad Beat Plus Jackpot

City of Dreams may elect to pay a set amount from the Minor Bad Beat Plus Jackpot fund for the Aces Full Bad Beat Plus Jackpot over a certain day/s and time period.

(PAGCOR and players to be notified at least 7 business days in advance for the date of implementation and pay-out breakdown.)

Rules:

  1. All standard City of Dreams Manila Bad Beat Plus Jackpot rules apply unless stated otherwise.
  2. Lose with any Aces Full of Twos to Aces Full of Nines to any Quads or better to qualify for the Aces Full Bad Beat Plus Jackpot payout.
  3. Aces Full: The player must have Full House that is made up of three (3) Aces and any pair. Both hole cards must be used in the Full House and at least one of them must be an Ace.
  4. Winning hand: Both hole cards must be used to make the winning hand and for Quads the player with a Four of a Kind (Quads) must have two of the quads as their hole cards. The minimum winning hand is Quad Deuces (Aces Full beating aces full does not qualify).
  5. Both hands, the winning and the losing hands, must be the players best five card hands possible.
  6. Only the two highest hands are eligible for the Losing Hand and Winning Hand payouts, all others will receive the per player table share. In the event two players have the same losing hand they will split the losing hand and share equally.

Example 3 – Bad Beat Plus Jackpot Bonus

City of Dreams may elect to set certain timings when the winner of the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot receives a cash bonus boost from the Minor Bad Beat Plus Jackpot Funds.
